WILLARD HOME.
A concert in aid of Willard Home funds will be given to-morrow evening in St. Andrew’s Memorial Hall, at 8 o’clock. The programme, which is being arranged for the Women’s Christian Temperance Union by Mrs T. Young, of Fitzherbert, promises to be a very good one. Some children of Fitzherbert, trained by Mrs Young, will give several recitations, and a, playette, entitled “Mary Ann’s Sickness,” and composed by Mrs E. Bowler Watson. The children will be assisted by the following local artists : Misses Ponketh, Clark, Boon, Wood, Tucker, Pollard, Plummer, Myra Reid, Doreen Saunders, and Mr D. Spring. The accompaniste will be Miss R. Purton. A good evening’s entertainment is promised all who attend, and for tho very modest sum of one shilling. It is hoped the Willard Homo Funds will benefit considerably by this effort.
