MONTREAL, April 19.
Brilliant play by Newman was a feature of to-day’s exhibition billiards match with Lindrum. The Australian was below his usual form and is suffering from lumbngo. At the end of the day’s play the scores were: Newman (received 3000) 7028 and Lindrum 1319.
