DUNEDIN SENTENCE.
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 21. John Vincent Jeffries, a native of Liverpool, was sentenced to three months in gaol for breaking a butcher’s window, valued at £2O, and stealing a roll of bacon. The police said that the offence was of the smash and grab Magistrate said that wilful damage must be firmally curbed.
