AUCKLAND, April 20. >' Mr “Wizard” Smith said this morning that the .finishing touches were now being put to the revolving windscreen which is being fitted to his racing car. The car would be shipped to Awanui on Saturday morning and he and his party would leave for the Ninety-Mile Beach. “I am satisfied that the invention of the new windscreen wiper is- a great success,” said Mr Smith. “I am more confident than ever that next week I will break the present one mile record.”
