MANAWATU COMPETITIONS SOCIETY.
Although the entries for tho forthcoming festival at Palmerston North do .not close until Saturday next, the competitors already entered and the widespread interest in tho ovent indicate that the society’s decision to hold a festival this year was fully justified, and that the fixture will be a popular one. The festival opens on May 16th and continues till tho 21st.
