At the wool sales to-day, 7588 bales were offered, including 4413 from New Zealand. Approximately 5867 bales were sold. Thero was good general competition, and tho offeisigs were cleared better than last we ex. A steadier tone prevailed, the prices in some instances tending in sellers’ favour. New Zealand realisations: Crossbred, Ototoa, top price Bfd, average 7d; scoured pieces, CPK, top price 13)d, average lljd.
