HIT BY ENGINE.
RAILWAY CROSSING FATALITY,
Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 7.
Saleeni Amunie, a waterside worker, was killed instantaneously at the Rattray Street railway crossing this morning. Deceased was walking along the footpath to the wharf and apparently did not notice an approaching engine, which knocked him down dragging him underneath.
