AUSTRALIA’S TRADE.
FAVOURABLE BALANCE DISCLOSED. Received April 7, 9 a.m. SYDNEY, April 7. The Commonwealth Statistician declares that a favourable trade balance is disclosed bv eight months’ exports and imports figures. The exports, valued in Australian currency, aggregated £64,000,000, equivalent to £49,989,000 sterling. The imports for the eight months were valued at £28,277,000 sterling, compared with £47,236,000 sterling, for the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
