NEW MAYOR OF MONTREAL.
MONTREAL, April 5. Mr Fernand ltinfret, member of the House of Commons and former Secretary of State in. the Dominion Government, was elected Mayor of Montreal by more than a majority of 10,000 over Mr Camillion House, who has been Mayor for the last four years. Two other candidates, one a Labourite, fell by the wayside. Mr House’s party was also swept out of control of City Hall.
