When something worries you mighty bad, And you feel you’re in the ruck, Just pass it on to someone else, It’s the game of “Pass the Buck.” Our Coalition’s coalesced But Gar, they’re badly stuck, "What can we do?” says "Honest” George, Says Gordon, “Pass the Buck.” "Righto,!’ says George, "that’s mighty bright, We’ll have to trust to luck And when a crisis does pop up We’ll 6imply ‘Pass the Buck’.” A Board for this, a Commission for that It just can’t come unstuck. A cushy job for “learned" men "Are you j;eady?” “Pass the Buck.” These expert men will ponder hard. And all around they’ll duck, Collect their coin and yours and mine And then they’ll “Pass the Buck.” And >when it’s back with Coates and much more badly stuck, We can all. join in and wait our turn In the game of “Pass the Buck.” “AJAX.” Palmerston North,.
