In the singles, Hopman beat Nunoi, 2—6, 6—2, 6—3. Sproule beat Harada, 6—4, 6—3. Crawford beat Satoh, 6—4, I—6, 6—3. In the doubles, Hopman and Sproule beat Harada and Nunoi, 6—4, 5—7, 6—4.
Totals: Australia, 6 rubbers, 13 sets, 103 games. Japan, 2 rubbers, 8 sets', 90 games. , ' The Test will conclude to-morrow.
