MANAWATU v. WAIRARAPA. The Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s annual match with the Wairarapa Association commenced \ this morning. The weather conditions, however, were far from satisfactory and the singles had to be interrupted when the heavier rain fell; The fol•lowing games had been completed by 1 o’clock, Palmerston - North players being mentioned first: Men’s single.—D.
