METHODIST CONFERENCE
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 19. Practically the whole of to-day s sitting at the Methodist Conference was occupied in receiving reports on vanous branches of church activity and appointing administrative officers. Rev. W. A. Burley was elected secretary to the Board of Examiners. A special lay committee was set up to consider economy measures with regard to stipends and to report to the conference.
