DROWNING FATALITY
Per Tress Association. GISBORNE. Dec. ' Douglas Marsh, aged 21, a boilermaker’s apprentice, was drownea whilst bathing yesterday in a ciee; hole of the Waimata River. A companion named Micliie, who wa* - ir indifferent swimmer, and Trevor Stevens, aged 12, made plucky, but ir.efioctual efforts, to save him.
