MEDICAL TREATMENT.
USE OF WHEAT OIL. CANTERBURY DISCOVERY. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 4. ‘This treatment will supplant what Dr. Voronoff has tried to accomplish "’■th monkey gland operations and should make a useful contribution to science’s search for the means of rejuvenation,” declared a well-known Christchurch medical practitioner today in speaking of his recent discovery °f the power of wheat oil in dealing with cases of general debility. This Christchurch doctor is believed to be the first in the world to have experimented with wheat oil for cases of debility. The wheat oil, which is extracted from the wheat germ, has come from Canterbury wheat, and the first extractions -of wheat oil in the Southern Hemisphere have been made at the Wheat Research Institute.
