IMPROVEMENT IN INDUSTRY
ANTICIPATED
Received December 5,2 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 4. The Daily Telegraph’s agricultural editor says: “Farmers anticipate an all-round improvement in the industry when the quota operates, including a progressive increase in the home and Empire wheat quotas, an increase in arable 'cultivation, assistance for live stock breeding, higher agricultural wages, the return of thousands of workers to the land, and a revival of fresh-killed meat production. “It is expected that a special Cabinet sub-committee will begin a discussion on Tuesday of the Dominion wheat quota.”
