CHURCH SERVICES

Rov. J. Ernest Parsons, of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Palmerston North, will bo the special preacher for the Ashhurst Methodist Sunday School anniversary tomorrow morning. Tho services at the Cuba Street Methodist Church will bo conducted to-morrow by the minister, Rev. J. D. McArthur. At the close of the morning service the Sacrament of tho Lord’s Supper will bo administered. A featuro of the evening service will bo tho special music; Miss Birch will be the soloist, with harp accompaniment by Mrs Murdock, while Mr A. Sundborn will play sacred selections on his steel guitar. The sorvico at Longburn at 2.30 will be conducted by Mr McArthur, who will at tho closo administer tho Lord’s Supper. Seats are freo at theso services, and worshippers aro assured of a warm welcome.

The quarterly Comfßunion services will bo conducted at both services in St. Andrews to-morrow by Rov. G. T. Brown, M.A. In connection with tho morning service a children’s creche will be established at the Manse for tho convenience of parents with young children. A retiring collection will bo taken up after both services for congregational relief. Visitors and now comers to Palmerston North will find interesting services awaiting them at St. Paul’s Methodist Church Broadway Avenue, to-morrow. Tho morning preacher will be Rev. B,obcrt E. Fordyce, of Ashhurst, who can be assured of a good congregation to receive him. In tho evening Rev. J. Ernest Parsons, tho minister of tho church, will be in tho pulpit and will tako for his subject “Whiteness.’ Tho Communion of the Lord’s Supper will follow tho conclusion of tho ordinary service. Mr Parsons will also preach at Aokautorc in the afternoon.

Tho meetings conducted by the Palmerston North Mission will be held for tho first time to-morrow in tho Bcrcan Hall, Main Street, opposite Mr Devine’s sections. Friends and adherents aro asked to note tho change of meeting place. The services will be at the usual hours and Sunday school in the afternoon.
