WOODVILLE, Dec. 3.
Tho Woodvillo bowling green presented a gay appearance on Wednesday when the annual pennant matches between Pahiatua, Dannovirke and Woodville clubs (Eketahuna not competing) wero played. The senior pennant was won by Woodville (who wero the previous holders) with an aggregate of 130 points, Pahiatua following with 118 points and Dannevirke third with 107 points. Tho junior pennant was won by Dannevirke (previous holders) with 116 points, Woodville being second with 113 points and Pahiatua third with 95 points. Results:—Senior Pennant: First round, Pahiatua (Britland skip) 27 v. Dannevirke (Williams skip) 21; Dannovirke (Calder skip) 23 v. Woodville (Horno skip) 15; Woodville (Alules skip) 23 v.
