AIR RECORD SOUGHT
LONDON TO DOMINION. FLIGHT IN EIGHT DAYS. DARWIN IN FOUR DAYS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, Dec! 3.
Plans to fly from London to New Zealand in eight days, and London to Darwin in four days, are being made by Flying-Officer A. Binley, who arrived on board the steamer Ballarat on leave from Trans-Jordania, where he is serving in the Royal Air Force. Flying-Officer Binley is on route to his home at Blenheim, New Zealand, where he will complete his plans. He intends to use an American aeroplane with a speed of 180 miles an hour, the same type as was used by Colonel Lindbergh. It will have a range of 3000 miles. His co-pilot will bo an English friend.
Flying-Officer A. Binley is well known in Wanganui, where ho was a resident for some time prior to his departure for Britain to join the Air Force.
