In tli© Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s series of matches yesterday the A teams of the Terrace End and Palmerston North clubs met on the Linton Street courts, when the visitors from the north-end club carried the dov by 113 games to 78. The match between the A teams of Takaro and Manawatu did not materialise, but will be played next Wednesday. B GRADE. TAKARO v.IIOKOWHITU. In the B grade series Takaro were at home to Hokowhitu, the victory going to Takaro by 126 games and 13 sets to 75 games and three sets.
