CHURCH OFFICERS.
VOLUNTARILY REDUCE SALARIES
Faced with a reduction of income from church properties, and with the added burden that some church schools are not yet firmly established, the Anglican Diocesan Council in Victoria recently considered a number of economies. Archbishop Head took the lead and reduced his salary from £2OOO to £I6OO a year. Other clerical and lay officials of the diocese have agreed to reductions in salary.
