WORLD FOOTBALL PRIZE.
SUGGESTED COMPETITION. Brigadier-General A. C. Critchley, vice-chairman of the Greyhound Racing Association, Ltd., proposes that a world Association football competition, with a first prize of £SOOO, should bo played at the White City, London, in May next. He considers that many leading British teams and many Continental teams will enter. A leading official said that an Australian team would be most welcome.
