SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON SESSION. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. Five cases, including that in which Georgo Errol Coates is charged with the murder of Phillis Avis Symons, were presented for consideration to the Grand J 1 Vy when the criminal sessions of the Supremo Court opened to-day before Mr Justice MacGregor. True Bills were returned in each instance. In addressing the Grand Jury, his Honour remarked that there were npt many cases for this final criminal sitting of the year, but he was bound to say that the cases, few as they were, would take some time to try, more especially the indictment against Coats. The cases include one of alleged arson by a farmer, also alleged conspiracy to defraud bookmakers.
