NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA. MELBOURNE DELEG ATION'S PROPOSAL. Received October 27, 10.0 a.m. CANBERRA, Oct. 27. Mr F. M. Fordo, Federal Minister of Customs, intimated to-dav that so far he had been‘ unable to look into the proposal made early this month by the Melbourne delegation for closer trade relations between Australia and New Zealand, but he woidd do so after the House of Representatives adjourned this week.
