MARTON, Oct. 10. There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Marton Lawn Tennis Club meeting last night, Mr K. A. Williams being in the chair. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr R. E. Beckett; president, Mr Williams; vice-presi-dents, Mosers J. A. Howard, H. L. A. Wheeler, and K. Stevens; club captain, Mr K. N. Glasgow; ladies’ captain, Mrs K. N. Glasgow; secretary. Mr R. G. Kingdon; treasurer, Mr H. C. Date; auditor, Mr H. Low; committee, Mrs Glasgow, Mies M. Wilkie, Messrs C. M. Holdaway, K. R. Sooon, M. G. Eenwicke and F. Wood; delegates to Wanganui Association, Messrs A. L. Wheeler and K. Stevens.
