MUNGANA CASE.
LENGTHY CROWN ADDRESS. Received August 20, 10 a.m. BRISBANE, Aug. 20. Mr McGill has concluded his address for the Crown in the Mungana case. According to the transcript of the official shorthand note, Mr McGill spoke at an average speed of 160 words per minute for ten and a half hours, a total of approximately 100,000 words. Mr Macßossan, who is appearing for Mr McCormack, said that the Crown’s case was no case in law. The hearing was adjourned.
