WOODVILLE.
WOODVILLE, Aug.. 19. Another entertainment was given in the Parish Hall on Monday by the Woodville Gleo Club. In spite of the wintry conditions prevailing, there was a very good attendance. The club, under the conductorship of Mrs J. McCormick for the last time, gavo a very fine programme. After the concert, tho members took tho opportunity to show their appreciation of Mrs McCormick’s tw r o years of work with them as conductress, by presenting her with a very nice mat and a pair of vases. Mrs Curry made tho presentation. Mr Elder also spoke in glowing terms of Mrs McCormick’s good work, and the good fellowship which reigned among them, wishing her all joy in her now life. Mrs McCormick suitably replied, and after a dainty supper had been served, the gathering dispersed with the singing of “For Sho’s a Jolly Good Fellow.”
