(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, Aug. 18. Congratulations have been extended to the four members of the Bunnythorpe Ladies’'Hockey Club who have been chosen to represent the Manawatu Association in the team to be sent to the annual ladies’ tournament at Auckland, Misses W. Ranson, W. Robson, M. Godfrey and E. Robson. '

The aggregate points prizes at the Anglican Ladies’ Guild euchre tournament were won by Mrs Godfrey, 85 points; Miss M. Godfrey and Mrs Armstrong, tied for second, 82A points; Mr A. Raison, 87 points; Mr V. C. Taplin, 85 points (second). The prizes were presented by Mr N. Greenhow this evening at a wind-up social.

Tho staff, with the assistance of Mrs Patience and Mrs Heggio aro putting in special work in training the children.

To celebrato their, first birthday which takes place this month, tho members of the Women’s Institute aro holding a euchre party and dance.
