REFORM LEAGUE.

MANAWATU "BRANCH. (From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Aug. 18. A meeting of district delegates of the Manawatu branch of the Reform Party was hold yesterday, presided over by Mr B. G. Gower (chairman), Mr J. Linklater, member for the district, and Mr W. Tilton Mist (organiser) wero in attendance. Both Mr Linklator and Mr Mist addressed tho mooting, at tho conclusion of which a vote of confidence was passed in Mr Linklator as candidate for tho coming election and a resolution was passed endorsing the action of tho Loader of the Opposition (Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates) in regard to the fusion proposals. Matters pertaining to tho formation of a Junior Reform League in tho Oroua Downs, Glon Oroua and Rongotea district wero discussed and loft in tho hands of tho organiser to finalise.
