EUCHRE PARTY. The club rooms of the Feilding j branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers’ Union were cosily decorated and looked very inviting when thse branch held a euchre and 500 card party to raise funds for the club. There was a good attendance and the games were thoroughly enjoyed, the prizes going to 3lrs Colquhoun and Miss Burke for the SCO and to Mrs 3’enne3l and 3Ds O. Jones the euchre. A dainty home-made afternoon tea was dispensed. Those present were 3lesaames Colquhoun. J. Williamson. 3lcCorkindale. Buchanan, O. Jones. Craine. Boctn. Cuilinane. Green. Kmll. Bray._ Foster, W. Sandon Road, a total of 4.03 inches of rain fell in Feilding in July, the heaviest fall being on July 13 when .64 ins. fell. The month was particularly wet. rain falling on 26 days out of the 31. DENTAL CLINIC. 3liss L. Wimsett, schools dental nurse in Feilding, performed over 300 operations at the clinic during July. These included 309 fillings and 78 extractions. Children from the 3Dnchester Street, Lytton Street, Tokorangi and Cheltenham Schools received attention. INDOOR BOWLS. In an indoor bowls match the button holders —Bros. Hastie and Rosanoski and Sisters Raynor and Hastie (skip)—again defeated the challengers —Bros. 3lartin and Edwards and Sisters Cleiand and Rosoman (skip) by 22 points to 19.
