LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN.
Last evening Manawatu (N) Squadron of the Legion of Frontiersmen held their usual monthly meeting. An interesting item was the report of the delegates to the annual Legion Conference, which was held at Auckland last week-end. The delegates brought home with them the Andrew Cup, which was awarded to them as run-ners-up for tiie D’Esterre Cup in the annual Legion shooting competitions. The local squadron was congratulated on winning this handsome trophy for the second time in the last three years, as the result of their efforts on the Squadron Range at Ngaputaki, Pohangina Valiev, during the Easter camp. The meeting was well attended and a strong social committee was appointed to organise a Legion dance and other activities in the near future.
