WOMEN’S INTERNATIONAL

MATCH. Received June 19, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, June 18. In the second day’s play in the women’s international lawn tennis match against France at Eastbourne, Britain again won all the singles and doubles matches. During the two days’ encounter, Britain won by T twelve matches to love. For the Wimbledon lawn tennis championship in the women’s singles the seeded players are: —Miss Betty Nuthall, Miss Phyllis Mudford and Mrs F. Wliittingstall (Great Britain); Fraulein Aussem and Fraulein H. H. Krahwinkel (Germany); Madame Rene Matlrieu (France); Miss Helen Jacobs (America), and Senorita Elia d’Alvarez (Spain).
