LINER’S RECORD VOYAGE.
YOKOHAMA TO BRITISH COLUMBIA. (British Official Wireless.) Received April 20, 10.30 a.m. RUGBY, April 19. A new record for a voyago across the Pacific from Yokohama to Victoria, British Columbia, has been established by the Canadian Pacific liner Empress of Japan, which made the journey of 4800 miles in seven days 20 hours, averaging 22.27 knots. She reduced her previous record by seven hours.
