HEAVY DEATH ROLL.

FATALITIES IN AUSTRALIA. Received April 20, 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, April 20. The death roll during the week-end in four cities was a heavy one. Motor car accidents accounted for six victims. In one case a cyclist crashed into a car and a piece of wreckage pressed against his throat and choked him.

A Melbourne boy was fatally bitten by a snake. A lighthouse keeper at Cliffy Island drank disinfectant in mistake for wine and succumbed. A circus hand was badly mauled by a bear.

Three Perth residents were drowned when a yacht capsized and sank off Rottnest Island. Two others were saved. A boy aged six years accidentally shot his brother dead with a shotgun.
