The final Wanganui wool sale was held to-day, with buyers representing all the consuming countries in attendance. A total of 18,832 bales was submitted. and passings were few. Prices, compared with the last Wanganui sale, were generally down Id to lid.• , . Bellies and -pieces did not suffer to the same extent. The Continent was the most active operator. Bradford bought cautiously. There was little Japanese competition, hut a good demand from France and Germany. There was a drop of ljd to 2d in lambs’ wool.
