A loss of £BSO on 12 months’ operations was anticipated by the Mana-watu-Oroua Power Board 'at the beginning of its financial year, but a statement submitted to the monthly meeting of the board to-day by the secretary (Mr K. W. Eglinton) disclosed an actual loss of only £lO4 LM. The following is a summary of the board’s position as at March of, 1901.
