TERRACE END CLUB S FIXTURE. To mark the official closing of the season, the Terrace End Bowling Club conducted a rinks tournament on Saturday when keen competition •was provided by the twelve teams competing. Outside clubs represented were Foxton, Takaro and Northern. Takaro and Foxton tied with three games each, and a play-off of seven heads was decided upon. A further tie resulted, and the deciding head went to Foxton. The teams were: —Foxton: Trueman, Ross, Howe, Rangihueua (skip). Takaro: Morgan, Jarrett, Smith, Tantrum (skip). The wins and losses by the other rinks, skips only being mentioned, were as follow: —Munro (Terrace End), Johnston (Terrace End), Christiansen (Terrace End) two wins, one loss; Childs (Terrace End), Davidson (Terrace End), Anderson (Terrace End), Wallace (Terrace End), Snell (Terrace End), Teale (Northern), one win, two losses; Wood (Terrace End) three losses.
