INDIAN PROBLEM.
GANDHI’S CASE. ~~DELHI, Feb. 18. “The issues are hanging in the clouds,” declared Gandhi on leaving the Viceroy’s house yesterday. There is no indication of any settlement of the Indian problem, but it is understood that considerable progress lias beemynade toward an arrangement. Lord-difivin is reported to have promised ;§n authoritative answer to GandhUs case after consultation with the Secretary for State for India, Captain Wedgwood Benn. The next meeting between the Viceroy and Gandhi is expected to take place during the week-end.
