COURAGE OF NEW ZEALANDERS
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 20. Lord Bnden-Powell attended a civic reception, where scenes of enthusiasm marked the proceedings. He paid a high compliment to the Ipirit and team work shown by the New Zealanders in the Hawke’s Bay disaster, and said it was precisely that spirit which he had aspired to develop in the youth of the world. He knew all classes of colonials and none came up to New Zealanders for courage.
