The following votes of sympathy were passed by the committee of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association at its meeting this morning : —Mr W. G. Shannon, death of mother; Mr D. Ross, district member, death of wife; Mr T. A. Hastings, death of brother, Mr J. Hastings; Mr H. Turner, death of wife; Mr W. Greenhow (life member), death of wife; families of the late Messrs J. Mowlem, T. Keeble, G. H. Espiner (schools steward and judge for years), A. J. Rutherfurd, Alfredton; Mr A. E. Bennett and sons, death of wife and mother; Mr F. Armstrong, death of son-in-law, Lieut. Kight, of Dannevirke, who was killed in the recent aeroplane accident; relatives of the late Mr W. H. K. Gilmour; Mr J. H. Perrett, death of mother; members of the Dalrymple family, death in England of Miss Fanny Dalyrpmle • wife and relatives of Mr R. McLennan and Mrs Balmer, senr. Sympathy was also expressed with Mr J: Mounsey in his illness.
