TEA ROOMS BURNED.
BLAZE AT RIMUTAKA HILL.
Per Press Association
WELLINGTON, Jan. 29
The well-known tea and refreshment rooms at the top of Rimutaka Hill were destroyed by fire- either on Tuesday night or early yesterday morning. The little wooden building will be missed by motorists. For some years it had been a popular stopping place. In fact, it was seldom that one or more cars were not to be seen parked outside at most times of the day.
