CHINESE TRADE.
VIEW OF EXPORT TAX. SHANGHAI, Dec. 31. A local business opinion on tho Chinese tariff was officially issued today. It admits that the imposition of import taxes has hitherto been unheard of in China, but emphasises the general fairness of the scheme in view of the Clinese determination to establish a protective wall. From that point of view it is by no means unfair.
