FAMOUS OLD LINER DESTROYED. EMPRESS OF SCOTLAND. Received December 11, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 10. An outbreak of fire occurred to-day on the famous old Atlantic liner Empress of Scotland, which was docked at Blytli Harbour. Northumberland. The vessel blazed so quickly that the flames burst through four decks and in a couple of hours only the shell remained. Eight men aboard escaped by the barest margin.
