INTER ’VARSITY RUGBY.
NEW ZEALAND STUDENTS. LONDON, Dec. 9. Henley, the New Zealand student, saved Oxford from defeat in the inter- ’ Varsity Rugby Union football match with Cambridge with a magnificent long shot on an angle at goal. The game was drawn, the score being 3 points each. On &*e occasion Minns, of New Zealand, sprinted grandly for the corner, but Smeddle (Cambridge) tackled him and prevented him scoring a try by inches.
