A Press Association message says that Hon. S. G. Smith, Minister of Labour, left Wellington this morning for New Plymouth, where he will address a meeting of his constituents to-morrow night.
Visitors welcomed by the Citizens’ Lunch Club to-day were Messrs F. Bryant (Tunbridge Wells, England), A. R. Donaldson, G. Pownall and F. J. Jones (Wanganui), E. Tanner (Wellington), G. R. Taylor (Ashhurst), Rev. J. D. Grocott (Wairoa, Haw-ke’s Bav), 0. Monrad and A. Rosanoski (Palmerston North).
