WOOL INDUSTRY
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES. EMPIRE CONFERENCE. - DELEGATES MEET IN LONDON. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received September 22, 11 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 21. Nine countries of the Empire, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, the Irish Free State, Kenya, Palestine, and the Falkland Islands, will attend the Wool Research Conference, which will begin in London on Monday. The object of the conference is to link up research activities throughout the Empire so as to promote Empire team work.
The Dominions Secretary, as chairman of the Empire Marketing Board, will open the conference. The delegates will visit the wool manufacturing centres of Yorkshire.
