FELL INTO HARBOUR.
SHIP’S ENGINEER DROWNED. WELLINGTON, Sept. 19. The body of George Carlsen, chief engineer on the whale chaser Kos 11, was found floating -in the harbour at 7 o’clock this morning. Deceased had apparently fallen into the water on Thursday evening .while crossing to the factory ship Kosinos from the Kos VII, which is Berthed alongside the whaler.. , At an inquest a verdict of accidental drowning was returned. The deceased, who was 46 years of age, was a married man, and was a native of Sandefjord, Norway.
