LATE SIR CONAN DOYLE
WILL PUBLISHED. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, Sept. 19. The late Sir Conan Doyle’s will,, which was written and drawn up by himself, and dated May 6, 1930, mcludes the following bequests: —£loo each to the Spiritualistic Alliance, London, and the Nationalist Spiritualistic Union, Manchester; £2OO to the Psychic College: £SOO to his wife forthwith, and all his household properties, books, pictures and manuscripts ; £250 per annum to his secretary for life; £2OOO to his elder .daughter, and several other small bequests, including £SO to the Authors’ Club, Paris. . The will states:—“l am convinced that these institutions (those to which bequests are given) represent the most important religious movements the world now holds.” The value of the estate is not yet known. Inquiries regarding the sales of his books are still proceeding throughout the world.
