LONGBURN.
(From Our Own Correspondent). LONGBURN, Sept. 19. The usual fortnightly euchre party organised by the Anglican Ladies’ Guild was held on Tuesday evening and, despite the inclement weather conditions, was well attended. Prizes were won by Messrs Lemberg and Davev whilst consolation trophies were awarded to Miss J. Campbell and Air J. Campbell. Miss M. Hall is spending a short holiday with friends at Karere. Miss Peggy Johnston is the guest of Miss Geary, Patea.-
