CHURCH SERVICES.
Following on the three weeks’ special meetings on prophetic subjects, which Mr C. F. Gedge has been holding in the 'Gospel Hall, • Main Street,. the subject for tomorrow evening will be “Does God Speak To-day, and How?” Palmerston North residents and visitors are invited to hear Mr Gedge answer the question. Very special services are to be held in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to-mor-row. The occasion is the annual golden offering. During the past five years this has been an outstanding event in the affairs of this congregation, which has raised the standard of giving not merely to a high financial but to an exalted spiritual level. An amount of £450 is being asked for, an amount which from any congregation would demand a severe measure of personal and individual selfsacrifice. The result of this effort will again be awaited with interest.
